Ayrton Senna was just 4 years old when his dad bought him a go-kart. He then started to race & the rest is history. He won the F1 World Championship 3 times.
Senna's gift was to drive a racing car just over the limit & beyond, he could make an F1 car dance through the most dangerous corners & keep it on the track.
However, on May 1st 1994, Senna rounded the high-speed Tamburello corner during the San Marino Grand Prix at Imola, his car left the racing line & hit the concrete retaining wall. The 34 year old Brazilian, probably the world's greatest race driver ever, was dead.
Max Mumbles says: “You don’t have small accidents at the deadly Tamburello corner.”
