The Bell UH-1 ‘Huey’, famous for its distinctive "whomp-whomp" noise could be heard for miles around throughout the jungles of Vietnam. The sound induced relief or dread depending on which side you were on.

He rides about in Huey’s blasting Wagner’s ‘Ride of the Valkyries’ at the enemy & tells everyone he that he ‘loves the smell of napalm in the morning’, one of the most famous quotes in movie history.
