This t-shirt features the blower from the all black 650BHP ‘Pursuit Special’. It’s a limited GT351 version of a 1973 Ford XB Falcon hardtop with the famous huge supercharger.
After the original MAD MAX was released, the car went up for sale but unbelievably no buyers were found so it was actually given away to one of the film's mechanics who was owed some $$$.
It was later bought back by producer Byron Kennedy for use in the sequel MAD MAX 2. The Road Warrior V8 features modified rear wheels, supercharger, modified side pipes & two large (40 gallon) gasoline tanks fitted at the boot with machete & explosive booby trap strapped to the underside.
The climax to Mad Max 2 is the convoy road warrior crash battle, like the M25 on a Friday night.
MAX MUMBLES says: "Mel Gibson, becoming a bit of car crash himself these days."
