This t-shirt is all about the hero of the Tiananmen Square massacres, Tank Man, or the Unknown Protester. He's the anonymous bloke who stood directly in front of loads of oncoming Type 59 army tanks, armed with two plastic shopping bags.
The David & Goliath confrontation occurred on the morning following the 5th of June 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre, when the Chinese military machine gunned hundreds of demonstrators in Beijing.
Tank Man went on to become the most famous protester of the 20th century.
